August 5 - August 21, 2008 - A Week of the Power (lost and gained..) and the Glory (mostly gained..) (and seventeen days...)

Hell hath no fury like a Man exiled... Mush-land (or must we say the erstwhile Mush-land?) saw just that- the Gill-man and his "friends" vacated the most comfy chair in Mush-land (oops...there we go again..) with a peach of a trump card (guess I missed a couple of letters there..(and a sweaty Bush-man too, I guess..)) The country welcomed this with a couple of BIG kabooms. And they went on to show that Justice does not necessarily mean the same to all. No direction Home, eh, Mush? Further West in Bush-land, the White Elephant nearly trampled all over the Buffalo Soldier, even as two million Donkey-people eagerly (and nervously?) eyed their cell phones to see who the lucky sidekick would be. (Can he Text it? Yes He Can!!).The White Elephant chose a more Convention-al path, and gave us next week's news. Somewhere between Bush and Mush-land, the (new) Matyroshka gate-crashed a neighbour's party, saying too many noisy toys aren't good for anyone. Last heard, they still haven't left the building. Closer home, several people realised the cost of a few unpleasant kabooms. And the (defeated) Witch of Bijnor raised the bar and a lot of noise amongst her psychophants. Then there were the 'amateur' games, in all their Glory. New numbers gained importance, notable ones being 8/8, 9.69, 5.05 and 3/1000000000 . And we also saw a few expensive slips- be it slit-eyed wonder-monkey-boys or sprinting hands (eight pairs, more like). Men and Women covered themselves with Gold (and Silver and Bronze too, if that matters...), but still no monks (!!!). Home-grown Casanovas wooed box offices, new-born slit-eyed lasses hogged the 'limelight', Big(g) Bosses started missing the Good(y)s (the ones that donot rhyme with tacky...) , immortal heroes (with amazing capacity for spice) chose paths of self destruction (at the very feet of the Lord!!), all in all, a Week full of the Power and the Glory....

.... and also of seventeen days, because two eclipses and a horde of unfriendly astrologers (and others too... nothing personal..) are thick-enough brick walls for a modest man with otherwise punctual blogging habits.... until next time...

Awesome one maga! Best so far... And the kabooms in the erstwhile Mush-land were more fireworks of joy I suppose ;)
