July 29 - August 4, 2008 - A Week of Lucky Mistakes,(index) Finger-Pointing and Anticipation.

Last week almost saw the Gill-man (the one from Mushy-land) say CIAo to his comfy chair at work, thanks to some really nice friends (turbaned(2) ones, at that..), and some rotten advertising(!). The Bush-man and the you-know-that-word-which-rhymes-with-king promptly flexed their index fingers after sweaty days (moo... still not happy, the cows, you know...) at tables of all shapes... The Buffalo Soldier (now back in Bush-land) found out he'd eaten one burger (or was it a croissant?) too many,as he found that the White (and Nasty) Elephant had elevated him to that lofty pedestal populated by, not girls(?), not (yet) women(?), but (suicidal) papa's lil' angels and by heiresses-on-parole (still??)(talk about one wrong night in the cityof lights!!). (Can he fake it? apparently, Yes He Can!!). The Buffalo Soldier,of course, pointed a genuine finger (index, don't get carried away...) at Mushy-land (without the company of wannabe erstwhile housewives (still in debt..)...) and, like everyone else, got away with it. To start off a chain of (lucky) mistakes, the Bush-Men (definitely friends of those described before (the ones with holiday records, in case you forgot...)) managed to knock off four (really) naughty turbaners. This was followed by approximately 24 (not sure...have just ten fingers and as many toes...) mute kabooms in a diamond city somewhere in Hat-trick hero land, and four days of swinging willows, leather (pretty much everything..)(succesfully)- all hail the 'boys' in blue!! And the Djoker made the matador bite dust (pretty HARD dust..).. finally.. the (rusty) old hammer/sickle retired back home(for one last time..), as did that champion of bovine equality (did you see that white powder?)(though far away from home this time..)(and 265 goats I hear...wonder why 265, though...(one followed by ten zeroes is not small enough, I guess..) ).. The Great games of the Amateurs are days away now..(3 in my time zone..still hear the clock ticking..or wait, that was too loud.. did someone just say Kaboom somewhere up North(West?)?), and will feature four turbaned men (1).(still no monks...) Old(?) Mummies returned to haunt us(no, no, not the Han Emperor... think closer home...), many people thought it funny to get children school holidays... a week of lucky mistakes, finger-pointing (mostly index...) and unadulterated anticipation....until next time..
